Back from the Village!

Well, we are one week old here in Uganda and let me tell you it has been a CRAZY Week! First off we would just like to say that Micah, You are so greatly missed by the team but most of all by the people. This past week we have been living in a very small village called" Casssels?" with Pastor Charles. We have lived with our new Uganda Father, pastor Charles, and his family and it has been an amzing time. When we first arrived here in Uganda we were all very overwhelmed. That first night as a team was a huge struggle filled with many tears. As the next day came most of those worries left. That home week we were just able to see a real village. We went and served at pastor Charles school and at his church. We also served a few other churchs including our older bother, Pastor Peter's church. Pastor Peter and Pastor Charles are who we have worked side by side these last few weeks and you will hear even more about them when we return. As of yesterday we are now at Pastor David's and we are just getting settled in at Fathers Divine Love Ministry. So keep praying with us! God Bless you all

Safe Arrival in Uganda

Hi this is Emily from Simpson and I received an email today from Pastor David Zijjan in Uganda.

Here is what he says:

I did receive the team at the airport yesterday 19th, drove them to the fdlm for a meal and refreshment, and then proceeded to pastor charles' village where we dropped them at about 5pm our time. We will be picking them up on monday afternoon and rest them for a day before they dive into their busy schedule.
Lots of love
David

About to Go

Sup Everyone!
Um, where to start. Right now we are in Santa Rosa, CA, getting ready to head out to the airport. We will be leaving for SF at 7pm pacific time and will be arriving in London 10 am, their time. Then we have an 8 hour layover. Them we will be leaving to Africa, and then the real journey starts. Well, this last week has been crazy for everyone in team Uganda. Um, we lost our leader and he will truly be missed. Now, there is just Jess, Melissa, and I going, J-DOG. Throughout training week we were just broken in a good way and with the help of the other teams, friends, we ended up not going crazy. At the end of the week we truly feel at peace about our trip. So thank you for your love and support!
Peace
Uganda Trinity!
